This map displays the percentage of workers, out of all employed workers, that work in one of four civilian sectors tracked by the US Census: private sector, government, self-employed (and not incorporated), and unpaid family work.
This map does not show the number of persons 16 years of age or older who are not in the workforce, are in the workforce but unemployed, or are in the non-civilian workforce (ie, in the Armed Services).
